Basic knowledge of printing
Resolution: In printing design, resolution is a very important parameter. In general, promotional brochures, packaging designs, etc. require a resolution of 300DPI, while pull-up banners, lightbox films, etc. are suitable for a resolution of 150DPI. The size and resolution should be confirmed before the design, otherwise the adjusted picture will become blurred after the design is completed.
Bleeding: The margins of printed materials need to reserve bleeding, usually 3mm. This is because in the post production process, there will be a cutting allowance of 2mm-3mm to ensure the perfection of the work.
Color mode: When designing printed materials, the color mode should be set to CMYK mode, which is composed of four colors of ink: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The larger the ink volume, the heavier and darker the color; On the contrary, the less ink, the brighter the color.
